Young Women's Institute
Eligibility: Must be a female rising high school senior
Application Deadline: May 5 *Cancelled due to COVID-19*
A four day residential program for female rising juniors in high school. Participants participate in business workshops at the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University, and are able to network with women in the corporate world. Students also build leadership and presentation skills by preparing and presenting a case project. Program is completely free; students must only pay for transportation.
Chinese Youth Initiative Summer Internship
Deadline: April 8 *Application now closed, will reopen March 2021*
Eligibility: Must be a high school student
A seven week paid internship which gives high school students the opportunity to explore and make a difference in Boston’s Chinese American community. Interns investigate issues such as workers rights, community stabilization, immigrant rights, and political empowerment.
Caminos al Futuro
Eligibility: Must be a rising high school senior
Deadline: March 1st *Application now closed, will reopen January 2020*
A pre-college summer program for riding high school seniors who have demonstrated leadership in the Hispanic/Latino community. Caminos scholars explore economic and political challenges facing the Hispanic community with the help of professors and experts, then create their own projects to positively impact their communities.
Summer Leadership Program
Eligibility: Must be 14-19 years old, living in the Greater Boston Area

A life changing leadership program for youth aged 14-19 living in the Greater Boston Area. Participants are immersed in an exciting six and a half weeks of community building, political development, social justice reform. Students become stronger leaders through controversial seminars and community based projects.
Bank of America Student Leaders
Eligibility: Must currently be a Junior or Senior in high school
Deadline: Application now closed. Will reopen in November 2020.
National leadership program where 225 community-invested high school juniors and seniors are connected to paid local community service internships through Bank of America. At the end of the summer, each student attends an all expenses paid leadership summit in Washington D.C.
Girls LEAP Teen Mentor
Eligibility: Female Boston residents aged 14-18
Application Deadline: May 15, 2020
Paid leadership program where young women are able to mentor and teach other girls in LEAP programs. LEAP mentors must engage in social justice discussions with other young women, teach other girls self-defense, create social media content for the Girls LEAP program, and raise awareness on violence that girls face in society.
Massachusetts Peace Action Internship
Eligibility: Must be in highschool, college, or a recent graduate
Deadline: No set deadlines. Fall term: September-December; Spring Term: February-May; Summer Term: May-August
Mass Peace Action is a statewide organization which gathers political power to fight for a just foreign policy. Interns support this mission by organizing clubs or forming relationships with other activists; writing articles about projects, contacting media outlets, or creating campaign videos; contacting legislator and analyzing political change; organizing fundraising events; or organizing events or writing articles for specific campaigns.
