North Carolina A&T State University Research Apprenticeship Program
For teens with more time on their hands, the four-week Research Apprenticeship Program at North Carolina A&T University is a great way to gain a competitive advantage. Working with CAES research scientists, students will explore topics such as animal sciences, biological engineering, and biotechnology. Learning opportunities occur both in the laboratory and the classroom, and students have the chance to work in teams. Those who enroll in N.C. A&T receive an $800 scholarship.
Applicants must be an US citizen and be a rising high school junior or senior with a weighted GPA of 2.8 or higher. In addition, they must be rank in top 25th percentile of their class and plan to pursue a college degree in food, agricultural, environmental, and family and consumer sciences.
