The Human Oncology and Pathogenesis Program @ MSK Cancer Research Center


A summer research internship designed for highschool students who are interested in pursuing careers in biomedical science. Students take part in independent research projects under the guidance of a graduate student, lab technician, or postdoctoral fellow. Students have the opportunity to present their findings at the end of the program.


Students must have at least completed ninth grade by start of the program, have a genuine interest in science and laboratory research, have at least a 3.5 GPA in science subjects, and have successfully an application consisting of the students transcript, two letters of recommendation, an updated resume, and three essay prompts.
